Nicole maintains a private studio of violinists and violists of all ages and levels. We spend lessons learning fundamental techniques on our, applying the foundations of music, exploring potential, and tapping into individual creativity through composition and improvisation. Frequently students are asked to expand their musical knowledge by listening to and performing music they might not otherwise experience.
Performance is a large part of music education, and opportunities are provided for every student. Recitals offer one performance outlet, and students are encouraged to perform anywhere they can find.
Lessons are 30, 45, or 60 minutes and are held weekly. Students are expected to practice according to their level, but I do expect a schedule to be kept.
